Fun, cheap, and pretty easy to do! Here's the link to the instructions. I used one inch red construction paper for the streamers and glue sticks in place of double sided tape. It seemed to work fine, and the kids had fun making them! We didn't have anything decorative for the top or bottom of the lanterns, but the lanterns turned out very pretty regardless.
These were such a hit today for WCAS! The kids loved this project. They weren't too easy, but not too hard either and they stayed the entire hour. It was actually a little difficult to get them out in time and I had to be a few minutes late on desk! I only wish I'd taken some pictures. Thank you Jennifer!
